I have been an audio describer since completing training at the Audio Description Institute in 2012. I also completed training at LEAD in 2013 with an emphasis on audio description in museum settings. As professional illustrator, I have long been accustomed to creating pictures out of words. As an audio describer I enjoy the challenge of reversing the process.
I have been providing audio description in the Columbus area since 2012 for live performances such as American Idiot, Book of Mormon, Julius Caesar as well as live description for films in the VSA Ohio’s ReelAbilities Columbus and the CAPA Summer Movie festivals. I also have been writing and leading audio described touch tours at the Ohio Craft Museum since 2017.
If you would like to discuss an audio description project or my availability please contact me.
